Boys BB Forms Due

All medical forms for basketball tryouts are due by December 4th. Please make a note of this and tell your parents, so you are sure to get your forms in on time!

Used​ ​Sports​ ​Equipment​ ​Sale​!

The 5th Annual Used (Gently) Sports Equipment Sale benefitting the UHS Baseball will take
place on Saturday Feb 24th in the auxillary gym. Until then, we are NOW​ ​seeking​ ​gently​ ​used
equipment​ ​donations​ ​for​ ​any​ ​and​ ​all​ ​sports/​ ​recreation​ ​activities.​ ​ ​ From baseball and field
hockey to lacrosse and ice hockey.

There are three way to donate:

1. We will accept donations on Friday, Oct 27 at the UHS football game. Look for us outside of the gates near the ticket booth. Drop your donations on the way to the game or drive by and we can take donations right from your car.
2. Drop boxes located in each school lobby, the week of Thanksgiving.
3. Email George Pellegrino at Pellegrino.george@gmail.com and we can arrange a pick up or drop off convenient for you.

UHS Lax Clinic

Updates for 2017 Football Season

• All PIAA physicals, dated after June 1, 2017, are due to the main office by Monday, August 14. If you need to get a copy of the PIAA physical form you may download it from the Patton Athletics web page or pick up a hard copy in the Patton main office.
• Copies of the Patton Football packet can be picked up in the Patton main office, if you did not get a packet before the end of the 2016-17 school year.
• Football practice for the 2017 season begins on Tuesday, August 22, from 2:45-5:00. Please meet in the middle school gymnasium, with any required forms.
• Practice the first week of school will be Tuesday, August 22 - Thursday, August 24. There will be a short parent meeting following practice on Thursday, August 24.

Fall Physicals Due 8/14

Attention Parents of Rising 7th and 8th Grade Athletes: This is a reminder that Physicals for Fall Sports are due to the Main Office by 8/14/17.  Each athlete is required to have a current physical that is documented on the PIAA's Comprehensive Interscholastic Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (CIPPE) form prior to trying out for a sport. The form was handed out at the sports' meetings in June and for your convenience, a copy has been attached to this email. It is also available on the PIAA website, but the form there includes extra pages you do not need at this time. Only the first 6 pages need to be turned in, the other 3 pages are irrelevant for Fall sports. Please be sure you have the most current version of the form, which is dated 3/27/2017 and that when your physician completes the form, it is dated after 6/1/2017. A physician is allowed to authorize a previous current physical, but they must put the date they sign the form, not the date of the physical itself if the physical was conducted prior to 6/1/2017. The early due date is designed to allow time to review all paperwork and identify errors or issues that may interfere with your child's ability to tryout for their sport. Forms can be turned in to the Main Office throughout the summer. The Main Office is open Monday - Thursday from 7:30-3:30. We understand some people will not be able to turn the form in by 8/14 due to various reasons.
