Wrestling Practice

Reminder: Wrestling practice starts Monday immediately after school. You will not be allowed to wrestle until you have done your initial weigh in. Don't forget, 8th graders will be hydration tested and weighed in during Basic today. Any wrestler who is not hydrated or does not weigh in today will be hydration tested and weighed in on Monday.

Boys Basketball Meeting

Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys interested in playing basketball for Patton this year.  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 20th in room 115 during Basic.  Please plan on attending or stop by Mr. Baumgardner's room to pick up the paperwork that was distributed at the meeting.

Winter Cheer Practice

We will be having Winter Cheer Practice for all who are interested on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, November 19, 20 & 21, from 2:30 - 4:00 PM, in the small cafeteria.  Come join us for some fun & support our wrestling & boys basketball teams!  Please wear sneakers, shorts & t-shirt.  Everyone must turn in the PIAA form if they have not already done so. See you there!!

Wrestling Weigh-Ins

Wrestling Weigh-Ins will be conducted during Basic on the following dates: 7th grade - 14 November; 8th grade - 15 November. Hydration testing will be conducted prior to weigh-ins, please make sure you are well hydrated by following the guidelines in the Wrestling Weight Certification handout. Make sure you have shorts to wear on the day you are scheduled to do your Weigh-In.

Wrestling Meeting

Anyone interested in coming out for this year's wrestling team should plan to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in room 205, during basic.

Girls Basketball Meeting

Any 7th or 8th grade girl who has interest in trying out for this year's basketball team should plan to attend an informational meeting during basic on Wednesday, October 9, in room 205, Mr. Little's room.  If for some reason you are unable to attend you should check in with Mr. Little if you are an 8th grader or Mr. Rohde if you are a 7th grader.

UHS Soccer White Out!

On Tuesday night the Unionville High School will be having a "White Out" Game Night for the Unionville Boys Soccer game against Kennett. If you purchased a shirt, wear it. If not,  come to the game in a white shirt anyway. Game time is at 7:00. Please come and support the team as they try to beat Kennett.

Cheerleading

If you were unable to make it to the Cheerleading Meeting last week during Basic, the paper that was handed out is on the counter in the Main Office.  Practice starts next Tuesday, September 3rd from 2:35 - 4:00 pm.

Ball Runners Needed!

The High School Boys Soccer Team is looking for ball runners for home games this fall. Most games are at night but there are a few day games.  If you are interested please see Mr. Garber as soon as possible. The next home game is Tuesday night.

Summer Soccer Camp

This year the Southern Chester County Soccer Camp, directed by Unionville Boys Soccer Coach Rich Garber, will be held the week of July 29th thru August 2ndat the Unionville/Patton Middle School Campus. Lets Play Lacrosse Camp

NEW THIS YEAR -  J Hatfield Fitness joins the camp! It’s Chester County's Premier Lacrosse Camp for Girls Grades K-8 both beginner and intermediate players. The camp runs June 24- June 28 from 9:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.  There’s a half and full day camp available. Pick up a brochure in the school lobby/office or download one right here.

Boys Lacrosse Camp

Coach Rohde and Coach Vosburgh’s Premier Summer Boys Lacrosse Camp for Boys entering grades 2 through 9 will be held June 24-27 at at Patton MS. Download a flyer for more details.

Unionville Youth Football Camp

The annual Unionville Youth Football camp will be held from June 17-21, 2013 at Unionville HS. The camp is designed for students entering grades 2-9. It promises to be a week of fun and learning with the UHS coaches and varsity players. Download an informational flyer and registration form here.

IMPACT Concussion Program

UHS uses the IMPACT (Immediate Post Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing) concussion management program for student-athletes. Current eighth grade athletes will do their testing on June 6, 10 and 12 during their PE classes. See this information letter for more details.

Unionville Invitational

Please join us for the 10th Annual Unionville Track & Field Invitational on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Events will begin at 9:30 am at the Unionville High School track and run till 3:00 pm. The gates will open at 8:30 am with a $3.00 entrance fee for adults which includes a program. Students are free. Over 25 schools are participating this year. The weather forecast looks great so come and show your support for the Track & Field team.  Food concessions and T-shirts will be on sale.

Track & Baseball

Yesterday the Patton Track teams hosted Downingtown in their 4th meet of the year.  Many Patton Athletes continued to show improvement by posting personal bests in this meet.  The girls team lost another tough one 74 to 98 and the boys team remained undefeated winning a tight battle 84.5 to 81.5. A great job to all those who participated.

Yesterday the 7th grade baseball team played Pierce Middle School and they won 11 to 1. Both Theron Schilling and Nate Talley pitched great. The whole team hit very well and played great defense.

UHS Softball Clinic

Wrestling News

Congrats to Caden Marino who recently won the prestigious Tulsa Oklahoma National tournament , this past weekend. He beat 3 state champs from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, to win the national title. Please be sure to congratulate Caden when you see him today!
